2 BOX FOR NEWBIES
Hello, I am Mike Evans, drummer with Sheffield UK Band, The Electric Luddites . I created this site to help new owners of the 2Box drum system get to know the way it works and get started quicker.
This is NOT an official 2Box site ..... the official 2 box site is www.2box.se
Another very useful resource is www.2box-forum.com
Below is a text file that lists the built in-kits and also all the sounds that are assigned to each of the pads and cymbals. Plus some additional info such as the volume , pan , decay etc. The order of the kits may be different from your unit as this was given to me by someone in the USA and the order seemed to be different than mine. You should be able to open it in Wordpad or Notepad etc. I put this here for download because for some reason it's not available on the 2Box website . I think it is vital to know what's already on the unit before you go messing about and changing it. If you do change it and forget to make a note of what you've done - this will help you by showing how the original kits were set up.
I have made 10 videos that cover the basics of the 2Box Drumit Five system. Plus a few others about my own set ups. If you watch these they should help you to understand the basics of the equipment and how it works. They don't go into every single feature just the main ones to get you started. Once you understand how these work you should know enough about the system to follow the written instructions in the 2Box Manual.
